How long before my Prior Authorization is done?
P.A. for prescriptions get started within 4-5 days of receipt. For Imaging, it is started 3-5 days after the visit. Then it may take 3-5 days for an insurance response. If you have Tricare, Medicare, or Humana, your referral will also need a P.A. This will take about 4-6 weeks.
