Advanced Family Medicine is a family medicine clinic in Kuna, Idaho, offering compassionate age-specific care to newborns, children, adults, and the elderly. Led by Michael Foutz, MD, the care team offers personalized plans that often include new and alternative treatments and therapies.
The team at Advanced Family Medicine combines its expertise to treat health complications and injuries of all kinds. They can also guide patients in prioritizing health so they can care for themselves and reduce their overall health costs.
Patients at Advanced Family Medicine can come in for annual physical exams to check in on their health at any age as well as sports physicals, scout physicals, and Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals when the need arises. These visits teach patients about general health and help track developments over time.

Family Medicine Physician
Michael Foutz, MD, is a family physician at Advanced Family Medicine in Kuna and Boise, Idaho, with experience in a range of specialties and alternative forms of medicine. Dr. Foutz is dedicated to giving people of all ages exceptional preventive care and treatment for most injuries and illnesses.
Dr. Foutz is a graduate of the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where he earned his medical degree. Before that, he graduated with honors from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. After earning his medical degree, Dr. Foutz continued training with an internship and residency at Family Practice Residency of Idaho in Boise.
Since completing his formal education and training, Dr. Foutz has spent his career in many different positions. Beyond his role as a physician, he has also been an associate professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, and an assistant medical director at a hospice center.
To keep up with new and informative developments in medicine, Dr. Foutz remains a member of the Ada County Medical Society, the Idaho Medical Association, and the Idaho Academy of Family Practice.
In his current position at Advanced Family Medicine, Dr. Foutz works with his dedicated team to provide a range of specialty services, including newborn care, gynecology, minor surgery, sports medicine, and urgent care.
Dr. Foutz is fluent in Vietnamese and has been a Vietnamese interpreter at St. Luke’s Medical Centers in Boise, Idaho.

Clint Baker is a certified Physician Assistant and graduated from the Idaho State University PA program in 2003. He has worked in family medicine and most recently in urgent care and occupational medicine for the last 17 years. This setting has given him valuable experience and the ability to recognize and treat many conditions. He is also a certified DOT medical examiner. Clint also provides Botox services for cosmetic purposes as well as for treatment of migraines. Clint enjoys the outdoors, camping, skiing, and traveling with his wife and family.

Megan McIntyre, a Certified Physician Assistant, was born in St. Maries, Idaho, and raised in Boise. She received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of St. Francis in New Mexico and has been practicing Family Medicine since 2009. Her first eight years of practice were spent serving low-income patients at Community Health Centers in the state of Washington which helped solidify her passion for the Family Medicine specialty and a broad range of patients she is able to care for.
Megan is excited to see patients of all ages and manage acute and chronic conditions. She regularly provides services for women’s health, behavioral health, dermatology, physical exams, and transgender care. Megan puts an emphasis on preventive health through collaborative health management with the patient; this includes clear communication and thorough education on conditions and treatment options. She also encourages daily activity, especially outdoors, for any ailment! When not building relationships with patients, Megan is usually outdoors running or biking, at the pool swimming, or going on adventures with her husband and son!

Anthony (Tony) Thiros attended medical school at Pacific Northwest University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Yakima, Washington. He is an avid movie watcher, a lover of the outdoors, and a supporter of the Arts. Tony grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho and attended the University of Denver, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He studied abroad for a year in Tuebingen, Germany, where he learned to speak fluent German. He then lived for two years in San Francisco before moving to Yakima, Washington for medical school and then to Boise, where he lives with his fiancé Will, and his hairless sphynx, Kimchi. He completed his residency at Full Circle Health- Nampa Program where he became board certified in Family Medicine, with special attention to non-surgical obstetrics, LGBTQ+ Healthcare, and endoscopy. He is an experienced traveler and has been to eleven countries. He served as the Pre-Op and PACU technician for four consecutive years with Mending Faces, a nonprofit that repairs cleft-palates in the Philippines. He was also an Emergency Department Technician at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Lately, he can be found cooking a new recipe, tending to his vegetable garden, or enjoying the great outdoors at his cabin in Pine. He is very excited to continue his medical career in the Treasure Valley and give back to the beautiful state that raised him.
